One of our first stops in Seattle was Bottleworks. We heard they have an impressive selection of beer and cider as well as a cool atmosphere.
From their website:
Bottleworks has 16 taps, is happy to fill growlers, and features an extensive selection of bottled and canned beer and cider. With over 950 options in package, not only is Bottleworks one of Seattle’s longest running bottle shops, but it also has Seattle’s most extensive cellared beer collections. Bottleworks also carries fine chocolates and is the sole retailer for Leonidas Belgian chocolates in Washington state.
Bottleworks did not disappoint. It was so exciting to find a fridge of cider full of bottles, most of which we have never tried before.
Plus, check out that decor and cozy space! It was really cool to visit a bottle shop that had room to sit around and have a drink. (I have heard rumors that some liquor stores in Edmonton may be adding that feature soon!) If we had more time in Seattle that wasn’t so cider-focused, I would love to come back here and try some of the beer. There were plenty of labels that perked my curiosity.
We also chatted with them about where else to head to pick up cider and they were very helpful. They recommended Schilling Cider House, which just so happened to be our next stop.
After we bought out the cider section, we wandered the hip neighbourhood with our prized box of bottles.
