Cidermaking with sour or acidic prairie fruit can be a challenge. We have spent years developing methods for getting the best out of local fruit. Learn the basics of how to make cider with a focus on tips and tricks for working with cold hardy fruit.

So you’ve made a few batches of cider in your basement, but you’re ready to take your cidermaking to the next level. Our advanced class will teach you hands-on skills to improve your craft and consistently make cider you can be very proud to share.
Cider Tasting
Raise your level of cider sophistication through an approachable lesson in cider tasting. Try a range of different ciders as you learn methods of cider tasting, stylistic differences, and how to spot faults.
The Science of Cider
Calling all science nerds! If things like apple cultivars, titration, pH, specific gravity, and yeast nutrients excite you, then this is the class for you. This hands-on class will guide you through the biology and chemistry foundational to cidermaking.
The Art of Cider
So much of cidermaking is an art form, especially in its final stages. Delve into the art of cidermaking and cover topics such as blending, advanced tasting, working with spice & herbs, and even tips & tricks for designing your own homebrew label art.
