In 2017, we stopped in southern Alberta on the way home from a cider trip to collect some sagebrush to experiment with. 🌿
The resulting sage cider was taking through rigorous taste tasting. The most rigorous being my aunties (you know who you are 🧐). When they tried the cider, they literally did a spit take 🤢 and voiced their very strong opinions that the cider tasting like Thanksgiving gravy. 😂
We often tell this story to people who are just starting to experiment with cider (or even stepping in to becoming an entrepreneur). It’s not all resounding success, especially when you are learning something new or experimenting.
I am thankful for the supportive and brutally honest people in our lives who have helped shape who we are and continue to make us laugh everyday 😂.
And I hope that this Thanksgiving you are blessed with gravy that tastes as good as our sagebrush cider 😜
