Cidermaking with sour or acidic prairie fruit can be a challenge. We have spent years developing methods for getting the best out of local fruit. Learn the basics of how to make cider with a focus on tips and tricks for working with cold hardy fruit. Taste some ciders to learn about how different fruit impacts fermentation and cider character.
We will be grinding and pressing apples, so wear closed toed shoes and clothing that can get apple gunk on it.
Location of the class is in central Edmonton. Details will be sent to participants directly.
